Terms & Conditions
The following information is important to read through before booking your photoshoot.
Please note: On signing and accepting the invoice, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
Reservation and Final Payment
Your reservation is confirmed once a 50% non-refundable booking fee has been paid and you have agreed to the terms and conditions. Please note that the date and time of your photoshoot is not reserved until payment has been made. The remainder of the payment must be settled at least 2 days before the shoot takes place.
Postponements and Cancellations
If there is heavy rain/adverse weather conditions on the day of the shoot, the booking can be moved to an alternative date that suits both the photographer and the client. If the client cannot make an alternative date or wants to cancel altogether, the booking fee will be forfeited.
Travelling/Parking Costs
The photoshoot packages each include 20 miles (return travel) from Saffron Walden, Essex. If it is required for the photographer to travel further than that, the additional travel will be charged at 55p per/mile. If the photoshoot is taking place in an area/location where there are parking fees, please note that the photographer's parking fees are at the expense of the client.
Post Production, Turnaround Time and Image Selection
After the photoshoot, the images undergo a process of selection and post production (editing). A preview gallery will be ready 3-4 weeks after the shoot and thereafter, the client can select the number of images based on the package they booked. Once the images have been selected, the client will be sent the chosen images in a high-resolution format to download, save and print as they wish.
Additional Images
If the client desires more images than the number included in their selected package, they can opt to purchase individual images (£9,99 per single image) or upgrade to the entire gallery (£99).
Safety
The Photographer reserves the right to terminate coverage and leave the location of the photoshoot if the photographer experiences inappropriate, threatening, hostile or offensive behaviour from any person(s) at the photoshoot; or in the event that the safety of the photographer is in question.
Back-Up
It is your responsibility to download, save and back-up your photographs. A back-up of your digital files will only be kept by the Photographer for 3 months after the shoot has taken place.
Copyright and Liability
Candice Joy Photography has full copyright of all pictures taken and may use the photographs for any promotional and/or marketing purposes. The client is welcome to submit the photographs to blogs. If you are submitting the photographs to one or more blogs, please inform the photographer and give Candice Joy Photography recognition.
Post-Processing and RAW-Files
Post-processing includes colour and light corrections. Advanced editing (such as altering the body sizes, airbrushing etc) will be quoted for additionally by an outsourced retoucher. Only high resolution JPEG images will be delivered. Under NO circumstances will RAW-Files be handed over to the client.
